Emptying the reycle bin/deleting contents permanently
For security reasons, contents of a project cannot be deleted directly, but are first moved to a recycle bin. This increases data security and makes it possible to undo accidental deletion of articles, files and references.
When you delete articles, files and references, they are first moved to the recycle bin. To open and view the recycle bin, click on "Show recycle bin" via "File"/"Information".
The contents of the recycle bin are then listed in a tab with various details such as content type or date of "deletion", for example
To restore a specific content from the recycle bin, select it and click on "Restore".
Multiple selection is possible by holding down the control key.
Emptying the reycle bin/deleting contents permanently
To delete contents of a project permanently, they must be removed from the trash. To do so, select one or more entries in the list (hold down the control key) and click on "Delete".
To completely empty the recycle bin and finally delete all contents, simply click on "Delete All".
